647 Virtual Phone Numbers: Who's Calling?

Continue to leave voice mail saying nothing even after asked to stop

Every day since I got the phone. Never ever stops. Why cannot this number be blocked.

This same message has been sent under many different phone numbers.

Possibly hacked voicemail

Calls twice a day every day. The 2 times I picked up was dead silence. Time for the right government agency to shut this c**p down! Pissed in Labrador!

A word to the wise. I used to work in IT, but never in security. Despite that, I do know quite a bit about what software to use to keep me safe from hackers and trackers. Even at that, last year I foolishly returned a call to an 800 number, and as soon as the call was answered my iPhone went blank, and I found out soon enough that they had scooped everything off my phone using hacking software. Even though your banking passwords and other information is encrypted, it is easy these days for practically anyone to decrypt passwords, using higher end desktops. Most people use passwords that are 7 or 8 characters long, and they often use the same password to bypass the hassle of having to remember so many different passwords for so many web sites. So what I did was I removed all critical information from all my devices and went to a paper based system, so no one can get them if I am hacked again, and in an emergency, I have my notebook right there to take action with. Suggest you do the same because it is only going to get worse.
