833 Virtual Phone Numbers: Who's Calling?

Keep calling at different numbers that I keep blocking

It left message but oddly called from a completely different number then the call back, and the voicemail sounds like a deep fake, which is a computer stealing your voice or the voice of someone else just to sound like that person and why it probably asks can you hear me okay, it's trying to steal your voice to call someone else and sound like a person but I can tell it's robotic and not human. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know so the voicemail said 'I am with degree search calling about a job give me a call back at 8332130991 DONT call back it's a scam. Never give out information without real verification and if they are angry about asking this it's further validation that it's fake. Any company understands the need for verification so if they mad let them stay mad

I get 4 or more calls each day from various numbers using this same recording. It claims I recently made an inquiry regarding Social Security disability benefits but that is definitely not true.

I have used their option to be removed but they keep calling ... everyday

Calls 2 or 3 times a week says it has to do with the financial matter and if I don't answer the call they're going to go further courts and serve me that they've tried to send me papers and it was marked Return to Sender I've never gotten anything from anybody and they will not leave me alone

I made the mistake of answering phone once and now they usually call me about 8:30 am.

Gave the impression there was a problem with my Rx. Wanted me to verify my information before they would say what Rx they were talking about. I wouldn't verify my information and told them if there's a problem with my Rx's have the Pharmacy call and I hung up.

Sent several messages in a row saying they were receipts for places and items I've never heard of Deleted immediately when my daughter informed me of a scam that was going around using this type of message. BEWARE AND DONT GET SCAMMED!

The company behind this Auto Warranty BS is obviously a large player in the robocall industry. Unless you actually take 5 or 10 minutes of your time to make a legitimate complaint on the FTC website, it will continue forever. The FTC does not actually investigate your individual complaint. In order for this to be investigated and eventually come to an end, each and every one of you reading this right now, needs to file a formal complaint on the FTC website. The bodies that DO investigate these complaints, rely upon the TRENDING ACTIVITY ( acquired from our multiple complaints) in order to pinpoint where the problems are occurring. The bigger the trend, the more likely they are to investigate. Please don't just make one report. Make a personal commitment like I have, to file a complaint for each of every robocall you get. If we don't band together as consumers, this harassing and irritating BS is never going to stop.

Called me from +1 828-392-4012. Claimed to be collecting a debt for Cash and Go but I had never heard of them. The first guy hung up but when I called back again they claimed to be calling about this debt. I asked them to send me a request IN WRITING to pay the debt. This is not on my credit reports and after reading this thread I'm convinced it's a scam. Second guy hung up when I requested to see proof of owing the debt IN WRITING. Know your rights! They also never said this was a call from a debt collector.

833 area code is used commonly by businesses and scammers to register toll free numbers. Reported these calls to United Health Care.

Person left voicemail saying he was calling in reference to my postal business matter with Chase. I have a Chase card, but I don't have a postal business account with ANYONE. Blocked & reported as spam. When will our government actually do something about these fake & annoying calls? It seems like everytime the "crack down harder" on spam/robocalls they just get worse, in my opinion.
