As with everyone else, same call, had all my personal information, I do not have any bad debt. Same amount of money 3000.00 from 2007, said it was a call on behalf of Citi Bank. BS, call trying to get me to pay a debt I dint have. PHISHING SCAM. However it does bother me that they have my personal info. I hope the FBI is working on shutting down this scam as the last post said. Pushed for more info, got hung up on.

These scum buy up old debt that has passed the statue of limitations and try to intimidate people into paying. Never agree to pay these idiots. They are the bottom feeders of the collection business. If you do indeed owe a debt and it's been sent to collections, you should receive or can request an explanation of that debt via mail. You can also ask for a validation letter INCLUDING the date of last activity on the account. Check your state's statue of limitations. If the last activity is older than the statue of limitations, they cannot collect the debt or take you to court. Don't let these scum harass or intimidate you. I don't plan to call back. Ever.

    Caller Name: Process Mediation
Received call this morning from a company called process mediation for a law firm. It was a recorded message leaving a case number saying if I did not respond a claim would be filed against me in court. This is the second day they have tried to contact me. This has happened before with them using a different number. I now have the number blocked on my phone!

They called me yesterday and today, saying that there is a litigation against me. I have not called back because I don't want to be recorded. However, I am very good with my credit score, because I pay everything on time. I have never been in DE, where the caller is located. I think these people are trying to get money from any stupid who answers back, and believes in such a litigarion.

    Caller Name: Process Mediation/David Jenkins
Received call this morning from a company called process mediation for David Jenkins law firm. At first it was a recorded message leaving a case number saying if I did not respond a claim would be filed against me in court. I called back to find out what this was all about. I got a woman on the line saying the conversation was being recorded, the background sounded like a call center. She said they were attempting to collect a debt from a credit company I have never heard of and to my knowledge never done business with. They said I had a good standing with this company between 2004 and 2007 before I let it go delinquent with a balance of some $3000 dollars! I have never let anything go delinquent, ever. However it frightens me that they had my name, birthdate, and social security number. When I tried to press for more information the lady on the phone became agitated and said all she needs to know is if I want to handle this in or out of court. I finally said I would need to call my lawyer, she then said so your going to go to court, good luck and hung up the phone. Needless to say this as left me a bit concerned that I may be involved in a scam and they have my personnel information.

(302) 202-2923Franklin, Moss, & Associates.Had whole bunch of my information but brought up stuff that's been taken care of for over 10 years now. Told him to wait a second and I'm going to get a lawyer. Told me he'd file a lawsuit or something like that it was hard to hear him well then he hung up. Called the courts and there was no civil dispute against me. What a scam.
